The Konkani Association of Australia cordially invites you to Sakhi Sakhi, an auspicious Choodi Pooja gathering (for women members only).
Let’s come together to celebrate our beautiful tradition of Choodi Pooja — a day filled with love, blessings, and togetherness.
If you are a member and have recently welcomed a daughter-in-law or your daughter has been recently married, then you could celebrate her first Choodi with our vibrant community!
We will provide you with fresh flowers & string for tying the choodi (demonstration to be provided on the day), Prashad offered to Tulsi Mata, tea and coffee.
Date: 3rd August 2025
Venue: SVK Temple, 44 Clifton Road, Riverstone, NSW 2765
Time: 9:45 am onwards
Dress Code: Saree – bring on the colours!

This is a FREE event and exclusively for women who are current KAA members.
