Spring into Wellbeing
This program aims to introduce Health and Wellness activities for our valued members.
We call upon members to take this opportunity and make a healthy routine part of their daily lives.
This program has been carefully choreographed by Lakshmi Pai, our Wellness Director, to allow you to do some activities online from the comfort of your own home and space, as well as, join some group activities to keep you motivated while having fun with friends.
The program includes both online and face-to-face yoga and meditation classes, webinars on topics such as diet and mental health, community walks etc. over the remaining months of 2021.
We introduce you to an online app that helps you with fitness and weight loss, if this is also one of your goals.
To make this fun and keep you motivated we ask that you register yourself and any family members over 13 years of age who would like to participate in some, if not all, of the activities.
Starting good health habits when young is a great learning for our teens too.

As part of our Spring into Wellbeing Program, we are providing you information about registering at Live Life Get Active.
This is a nonprofit organisation providing unlimited access to free fitness classes that include crosstraining, boxing and Yoga. They also provide unlimited access to daily live streams on nutrition plans on healthy eating and access to healthy recipes.
Get an insight into this and take this opportunity to change your life forever.
Don't hesitate to join like-minded people in over 14 locations across Sydney for their outdoor group sessions of yoga, walking etc in a welcoming and non-judgemental environment.
Why Now is the right time?
Covid-19 Pandemic has been an emotionally challenging time for all of us. KAA has a vision of increasing awareness of healthy lifestyle choices leading to good health and wellbeing for our members. Hence let's all join hands together to create healthy bodies and healthy minds while having fun together. Let's all spring to an increased level of health and wellbeing. Check with your other member friends if they would like to join you in some of these activities too.

Sunday, 20th June 2021 - First Kickstarter Walk Event
Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Venue: Lakes Edge Park, Claret Street, The Ponds
We aim to walk for about 3 Km and do some guided Yoga stretches and Pranayama.
Walks are planned once every month starting from 20th June 2020. The walks will be on Sundays from 9 to 10 taking you through stunning remnant bushland/reserves/parks of Paramatta and Hills Shire areas.
Bring your backpack with sunscreen, a hat, a drink and a snack for our morning tea stop where we will have some useful chats on health, nutrition and wellbeing by fellow walkers.
Wednesday, 23rd June 2021 - First Meditation Webinar
Time: 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Our valued associate, Bindu Narula will hold 5 consecutive meditation sessions on Wednesdays every week from 23rd June at 8:00 pm for members.
Spring into Wellbeing MEGA Event - August
TICKETED EVENT - $10 per person
This is a mega health event that will include yoga, meditation, photovoice exhibition on what Health and fitness mean to you.
This event will be held in August and further details will be sent to our members closer to the date.
